A Cautionary Warning
This section isn't meant for lighthearted meandering. This is a section dedicated to serious, full fledged discussions about serious issues. Many opinions and viewpoints in these discussions WILL offend you. Just remember several key things.
1. If you're wrong, you look much better just saying that you were wrong about a point in the argument.
2. Don't lie or use false facts and false experiences to back up your points. That is counterproductive to the discussion.
3. If something offends you to the point where you would want to flame a person instead of respectfully disagree with them, just don't post a reply.
4. If you feel yourself getting worked up, just relax, think to yourself (is this really what I mean to say, or am I just saying this out of anger). If you can't think clearly, wait a bit before coming back to post.
5. You need to understand that just because you prove someone wrong, doesn't mean they're going to like it or in some cases even acknowledge it. Some people are set in their ideals and ways and don't want to change them regardless of whether they are wrong or not. While this is sad and I feel bad for people who aren't open to learning, arguing to them isn't going to change how they feel.
If you have any questions / complaints. Contact me.
