No more permanent weather in Gen 6
According to multiple sources, Dought, Drizzle, Sand Stream and Snow Warning only last for five turns now. What do you guys think about this. To me, I feel as though this is the best change that Game Freak has done to the metagame in quite a while.
Re: No more permanent weather in Gen 6
I completely agree. Now weather teams will have to continuously use a turn to regain their fields. Very excited about that!

Seriously, that's why I couldn't stand Gen 5's OU metagame.Scarlet wrote:I completely agree. Now weather teams will have to continuously use a turn to regain their fields. Very excited about that!

I was in a Monotype-League on Smogon for like, the longest time. Every time we had a challenger or if there was a tourney we were hosting, everyone would pick a rain team. It was ANNOYING.

Re: No more permanent weather in Gen 6
Gen 6's metagame is gonna be diverse and amazing, especially with all the megalutions around.
Re: No more permanent weather in Gen 6
Ninjask
Turn 1: Protect +1 Speed
Turn 2: Substitute +1 Speed
Continue for 6 turns. Hope you get a sword's dance or two off.
+6 Speed, +4 Attack to Gallade with Focus Sash. GG.

I'd ask to verse you, but you'd stall me to death. I'd end up running out of PP for my fire moves eventually...

Re: No more permanent weather in Gen 6
Ninjask can say hello to Ice Shard or Bullet Punch.
Also, Water Shuriken is Priority + Multi-Hit, breaks sashes and ignores Ninjasks huge speed. So Greninja will curb stomp Ninjask.

Re: No more permanent weather in Gen 6
Water Shuriken is Priority? Is it +1 or +2?

I love this change. I've been playing on multiple Pokemon servers and... well, it's pretty awesome now that perma weather is gone.
